Why we do it this way
A good lash set starts with a difficult conversation: what you actually want, not what you saw on Instagram. We'll ask about your daily routine, whether you rub your eyes, how much you swim, how often you travel. The lashes we place today have to live with all of that for three weeks.
We work only with medical-grade cyanoacrylate adhesive and Korean PBT lashes in five curl types. No one at Lavender Glow places a lash heavier than what your natural lash can carry — this is non-negotiable, even if you ask us to. A lash that pulls is a lash that damages, and damaged lashes take a full cycle (45 to 60 days) to come back. We'd rather say no to a weight than say sorry to a regrowth.
Classic is one-to-one — one extension per natural lash, for length and subtle darkness. Hybrid is 50/50 Classic-plus-Volume fans for texture. Russian Volume is lightweight 0.05mm hand-made fans, 3 to 6 lashes per fan, for the full-lash-line effect without weight. Most first-time clients start with Hybrid. They tell their friends, then the friends book Volume.

The first 24 hours decide the next 24 days.
The adhesive needs about four hours to reach full cure, and the first evening is when the bond is most vulnerable. A little care now buys you three weeks of lashes that behave.

Before your first visit
How long do lash extensions actually last?+
On most clients, three weeks of looking "full", and up to five weeks with refills. Your natural lashes shed on a 45-day cycle, so extensions fall with them — that's healthy, and why refills exist.
Can I swim and shower normally?+
Yes, from 4 hours after placement. We use a water-resistant adhesive and medical-grade materials. Chlorine and salt water are fine; oil-based cleansers and eye makeup removers are not.
Will extensions damage my natural lashes?+
Not when they're placed correctly. Damage comes from extensions that are too long or too heavy for the natural lash — which is why we weigh every fan and refuse sets we know will pull. Our placements are 0.5mm off the skin, one extension per natural lash (Classic) or hand-made lightweight fans (Volume).
What if I'm allergic to the adhesive?+
True cyanoacrylate allergy is rare (less than 1% of clients), but real. We offer a free 48-hour patch test before your first appointment. If you react, we refund the deposit in full — no questions.
Can I wear eye makeup with extensions?+
Eyeshadow, yes — powder formulas work best. Eyeliner, yes — but choose water-based gel or pencil, not waterproof. Mascara, no — and you probably won't want to, because you'll already have the look.
