Held, not handled.
Our Signature Lavender Glow massage, hot stone, prenatal, deep tissue, and a two-hour body scrub + wrap — all by therapists trained for at least five years before they work on you.
Why we do it this way
Every massage at Lavender Glow begins with a small bowl of warm water, a single drop of Bulgarian lavender oil, and a pause. You wash your hands. Your therapist reads the posture notes from the consultation. No one speaks unnecessarily. The room is warm. The lighting is low. This is the moment — before the first stroke — that most of our clients tell us they start to let go.
We trained our body team for Dubai specifically. This city sits at a desk, then stands in a queue, then flies overnight, then answers emails in a car. Every therapist here has five or more years of experience with chronic neck-shoulder-lower-back patterns, post-flight lymph retention, and the very particular hip tightness of people who ride a lot of taxis.
Oils are pure. We blend them in small batches: almond base, jojoba, a customised essential-oil layer per client. You can ask to smell all three options before we start, and we'll mix yours on the trolley beside you.

Stay slow until tomorrow, if you can.
A good massage triggers a real physiological shift — blood flow, lymph drainage, a drop in cortisol. To let the work settle, your body needs water, warmth, and a little protection from harsh effort for the next 18 to 24 hours.
- Drink an extra litre of water today — the lymphatic work releases metabolites and you'll feel better flushed
- Avoid high-intensity exercise until tomorrow morning
- A warm shower is perfect. A cold plunge or ice bath is not
- If you have deep-tissue soreness the next day, that's normal — it usually clears by the evening
- Keep the oil on your skin for at least two hours before showering, if you can
- Tell us at your next visit what worked and what didn't. We adjust every return booking.
A gentle heads-up.
- Fever, flu, or active infection
- Recent surgery (within 6 weeks, or as cleared by your doctor)
- DVT or active blood clots
- Severe osteoporosis (we can still work lightly — please tell us)
- Pregnancy in the first trimester (we offer prenatal massage from week 13)
- Skin conditions with open lesions in the massage zones
Please tell us about any injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions when you book — even old ones. We'd rather know and adapt the ritual than find out mid-session.

“I booked a Signature for the first time the day I landed in Dubai after a 14-hour flight. I walked out feeling like I'd had a full night's sleep. I've since booked every time I come back to the city, and I come back a lot.”
“The Two-Hour Sanctuary was a gift from my husband and it was the most present I've been in months. The body scrub, the wrap, the massage — by the time they brought me tea at the end I didn't want to speak to anyone.”
Before your first visit
How do I know which massage to book?+
If it's your first visit, start with the Signature. It's designed as a reset and it tells us — and you — a lot about your body. From there we'll usually suggest either the 90-Minute Release (if you carry chronic tension) or the Two-Hour Sanctuary (if this is a special occasion or recovery).
I'm 20 weeks pregnant. Is massage safe?+
Yes, from the second trimester onward, with a prenatal-certified therapist — and all of our body team are certified. We position you safely on your side with a full-body pregnancy pillow, use lighter pressure, and avoid specific pressure points around the ankles and lower back that can stimulate contractions. Please tell us at booking.
Do I have to undress fully?+
No. You undress to the level you're comfortable with. Most clients remove everything and are draped under warm linen at all times — only the area being worked on is ever uncovered. If you prefer to keep underwear, robe, or clothing on, the therapist will simply adapt.
What if I want deeper pressure?+
Just ask. Tell your therapist at the start, and again during the session if you want more. Our default is a firm medium, and we calibrate to you — not the other way around. If you leave without having asked for more, that's on us, and we'll adjust it next time.
